I know Stanzi is no Tom Brady, but he has been mentioned in the same sentence as him on more than one occasion. He had a huge problen with interceptions his junior year. But when it came to the forth quarter he could hold it together, rally his team, and pull off the win. Speaking of his wins it should be mentioned that Rickey Stanzi is the ONLY QB to beat Joe Paterno in all three of their meetings one of those wins was against a 3rd ranked Penn state team if I am not mistaken. He also lead hawks to a 9 -0 start reaching number 3 in the BCS. Before injuring his ankle against northwestern. They dropped that game and the following one against ohio state. With out him. The last acaccolade is that he won three straight bowl games with one of them against Blaine gabbert. I agree Stanzi must get a start this year. And if he is good .
